Gustavfeed & Gustav Info Center: great examples of my tips in action!
By WDavidStephenson | September 1, 2008
There’s a great new Twitter feed today, Gustavfeed, done by social media strategist Joe Solomon,
It is sampling Twitter-related posts from sites including:
Hmm. Don’t see anything from Qik — are you monitoring them, Joe?
IMHO, if you are a first responder or if you’re directly affected and you need to get first-hand situational awareness, you need to follow gustavfeed. And, if you’re contributing material, especially video, you need to pay scrupulous attention to your titles, descriptions and tags, to make certain it will be as easy as possible for others to find what you post.
Gustavfeed itself and the content that it includes, are great examples of my “networked homeland security” argument, and my “21st-century disaster tips you WON’T hear from officials,” and demontrate the power of advanced personal communication devices and Web 2.0 social apps.
Keep up the great work, Joe!
